You don't need to read hundreds of KB to know how to avoid several
              years in jail if your are suspected of a crime.
    Why do you think they question you for several hours all the time?
     Simple, they need your confession to put you in jail. If there's
      no witnesses to the crime and no finger-prints, they can't bust
